The NCRHA is looking for a Development Director. If you are interested, please contact Ed Luther at [email protected] This will not be a "full time" position but will take up enough time to make your life more exciting.
The duties of a development director will include but are not limited to:
1) Working with new and developing college roller hockey clubs/teams to get the necessary funding, to communicate with their club sports department (including to explain the appeal of the sport and what NCRHA does).
2) Developing manuals such as "how to start a club" and "what a high school player should know," among others.
3) Representing the NCRHA at events for high school leagues, NARCh and at events for organizations like NIRSA (Basically to get the word out to club sports directors and high school students about the sport).
4) Helping students at any university who are interested in starting up a club at their school.
5) Working with organizations like USA Hockey Inline, AAU, and USA Roller Sports to help to grow the sport from a grassroots level.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help the sport of roller hockey, and collegiate roller hockey in particular.
