Thunder & Bullets--I think the Thunder bring the Bullets back down to reality with Johnny P having another big game for the Thunder.(Thunder 12-4)

Snipers & Wolves--I think the Wolves have just alittle to much firepower for the Snipers to handle. (Wolves 13-6)

Ottakringer & Firebirds-- I definatly see the phants snapping the losing streak and getting back on track with a 4 goal victory. (phants 10-6)

Storm & Sting-- I think we have to many weapons for them to handle. We open this one up early and often. I know one thing, the Sting is a tough team and these guys definatly won't just lay down and let us roll over them. We still have to bring our A game or it will be a long night.

Now the one everyone's been waitting for... we crush the Gladiators bottom line....no, no, no just kidding. I have no idea which direction this game will go. Which ever team comes to play, stays out of the penalty box and doesn't make many mistakes will win this one. Both teams have some serious weapons in their arsenal so we should see some pretty goals in this one.

Well good luck to all the teams this weekend.

Hey just a quick question, i've been reading some of your post, and you seem to be again the bullets, why are all your posts so negative about them?

I'm not against the Bullets, not at all. I'm glad to see those guys doing well this year. It's makes the league better when any team can beat any team on any given night. As far as my last two posts I thought the Sting would have alittle revenge on their mind and win that one. And with the Thunder game I think the Thunder and Johnny Pinheiro are alittle to strong for the bullets. They keep winning games like they did last week trust me you'll see me picking them to win and win big.

Your funny buddy.... you ask me why I'm so negative about the Bullets and you pick the Thunder to beat them....lol. So why are you so negative against them?

I think the thunder can beat them, i wasn't being negative....you said
Thunder & Bullets--I think the Thunder bring the Bullets back down to reality......
Come on you could've just said, "thunder over bullets," why did you say back to reality, Come on man, there's ways to say things, i don't think the bullets gave any reason for you to think that.....

If I remember correctly the 2002 (World?) Champions started the season 0-3. Of course it was a really different type of season where the top teams were beaten in a tournament by a johnny come lately team who did lose in the Finals. I wouldn't really count out any team yet. The season is still young.

I said it that way because they haven't beaten a top team yet... do that and it's a different story. Respect isn't given it's earned.

I think Marty may be right, I'm gonna hop on his wagon and go with the Bullets by 2. I think Francis & Kull can match Pinhiero goal for goal.

I think the Wolves step up on this one. They had a very disappointing outing last time at home. Coming of a road OT win and with their talent... Should be happiness in Somerset Sat nite.

Ottakringer - 'Birds is intersting. Last week Bill's boys didn't turn up much O. With a missing Cinfranni (sp?), likely missing Navin, likely missing Black (injury?) things will be hard. I think the 'Birds get their first win although it will not be easy.

Storm - Glads... Oh my! The Storm do seem to have it going on... And Roger has been all but a wall. On the flip side, Marple is, well, Marple. I'm gonna give it to the champs in their rink. They have a ton of firepower and I have yet to see a team push them for more than a period.

Storm - Sting... This one is even more interesting... I think the Sting have to be licking their chops here. I can't see the Storm leaving Marple with out some sore legs at a minimum. A fresh Sting team might just pull off an upset. This should be a Storm win, but if the Sting are still around in the 4th, they take the win.

Roger's got the bet going for him, I don't think you'll get any power plays because of him. It'll depend on my mood, and who's buying the first round :D

Well then you better heckle me because I just bought a house and dont think I can afford first round.

Rog are you going to be in NY for TORHS in DEC., ill be there playing with Yings team.

Looking forward to a good game against the Thunder. The Bullets have a lot of weapons to contend with. Don't count us out yet. See you in December.

Here's a simple game plan for you... use the body they don't like to get hit and definatly cover #61 Johnny Pinheiro. Shut him down you shut down their offense. Good luck this weekend.

YOKES?????? Don't tell me you've joined the DCat side of the betting poll? I thought we were boys? Penalties, me? So far so good. Three games, no problems. That anger management class must be working. I am going to ask for an exception for Saturdays game though. There's going to be a lot of excitement and butterflies that game and I don't know if I will be able to control myself. See you Sat. Good luck J.

Contain Johnnie P and your all set. He's pretty much the whole team.

wathockey00
11-19-2003, 08:39 PM
I disagree that he is the whole team, the guys on the Thunder "together" are a very good team, and even if a team can find away to shut John P. you still have to deal with Anthony Guisto, Chris Vasseur, Jason Salvato, and the rest of the guys. I mean John is awesome and I really enjoyed watching him play during the game against the Storm. Whether the Storm players choose to admit it or not Hartford has possibly the best team in MLRH this season and sooner or later teams will start to find that out.

Good luck to you to, it is going to be a great game, I cant wait. No, im still on your side but you know how it is when your at the other end seing a powerplay the other way is much nicer. Ive learned to get all my penalties out in the house leagues, thats my anger management.

Its just not fun unless you stand in front of it!

Your not that 12 year old kid that plays on the jr. thunder are you? You go check the stats at MLRH.com. How many points does the next player behind John have? That says it all. One of the best teams? I'm done replying to your post. They makes no sense. The thunder won't beat us, and they certainly won't beat Marple. They won't beat the Phants when they have their full team. Stop it with the thunder all ready. When they beat a good team, then chime in. Until then, pray John doesn't get hurt. Because if he does, the thunder will loose the rest of their games.

Nicely said Rog, thanks because I was about to snap on that kid...lol. Thunder best team in the league? Ya ok we beat them without Silvestri, Millette, Belleza, King, Cioffi, myself... did I miss any? But hey they out shot us....lol.

The only guy playing out of all them is pauly. Hunt and Cioffi don't play this year and Gouls still has an injured wrist so he won't be making it either.
