To all Greater Toronto Inline Players/Team Reps,

I thought you might like to know that James Dinneen passed away Tuesday
morning (October 28th) at approximately 4:00 am. Please see the details
below taken from the Toronto Star.

DINNEEN, James Joseph _ December 20, 1971 - October 28, 2003. James was an amazing young man who fought a courageous one year battle against leukemia.

Beloved husband of Robin Whalen. Devoted and much loved father of his son Ryland ''Buddy'' and daughter Tristan ''Rusty Buttercup.' Beloved son of
Jim and Janet Dinneen. Cherished brother of Jacquelyn Dinneen. James will be sadly missed by his mother and father-in-law Stafford and Lily Whalen. James will be missed by grandparents, aunt, uncles, cousin and friends especially his best friend Brian Laloncette.

A special thanks to Dr. Schuhand and all the supportive and loving nurses at 14A at Princess Margaret Hospital. James was a devoted friend and brother of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Thank you to all the brothers for their love and support.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston on Thursday, October 30, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Kenilworth, Ontario. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation of Canada or Princess Margaret Hospital. James' final words to all of us, ''Don't cry, we had great times.''
