In the Wolves @ Bullets game, I say the Wolves take the Bullets 12 to 5. In the Sting @ Ottakringer game, I have to go with the Ottakringer just because how strong they have been in the past. Finally in the Storm @ Thunder game I KNOW FOR A FACT that the Thunder is going to crush the Storm. The Thunder has Anthony Giusto and Jeff Stepina and I am pretty sure Eric Weichselbaumer is back. The Storm might have some Team Rink Rat players but I just don't hink they can stack up to the Thunder.
(MARC - GOOD LUCK ON SATURDAY!)

But really, how do you feel about the Thunder - Storm game. I'm unclear on what you mean :)

Seriously, on paper, that should be one heck of a game. Both of these teams were in the "darn good" catagory last season and both have added _very_ good talent. I'm currently trying to talk my wife in doing without me this weekend so I can catch this one... (And that is an 8 hour drive one way)

You are right about both teams having alot of talent but I think this is going to turn out like the Thunder and Jokers opener last year. It was a great game and ended up going into OT where the Thunder won. Plus I live in Glastonbury, and since the Zrink is located right in town I have to go with the home team.

Your not serious? Last year, in the VA. Storm vs. Thunder game, the Storm won in OT. At that time we had only Mike Hunt, Tony Szabo, Darrall Interbatolo, Paul Rogers and Bobby Clouston. Last year we won with 5 guys. This time, we have a team full of guys with the same or if not better talent. Including three of the Thunders best players. Last year we played guys who couldn't skate, and the back up goalie was way over his head. Letting in 6. Eric W. got maybe 2 points. I appreciate your loyalty, but please, think about it for a second. I see the Storm by 8. That's with me coming out in the third because I'm bored.

I hope your at the game taking action... since the Storm is going to get killed...as you say...lol. We should be getting some goals, nice there's money in the bank. I hope you get to enjoy the first half because by then the game might be over and you'll be on your way home. GO THUNDER....lol.

Does anyone know who Weichselbaumer is playing for this year if he is playing? He dosen't seem to be on the Thunder roster.

I thought you "were sure Eric W. was playing"? First off, do you even know who Team RinkRat is? TORHS and NARCH Pro National Champions. Second, do you know anything about inline hockey? It doesn't sound like you do. I don't mind saying I like adding fuel to an already burning rivalry, but it should be a good game, for the first ten minutes. The Thunder has Dan D. Our worst player is better than Dan. Sorry Dan. Our only close game this year will be against Marple. And I see a 3 goal win our way in that one.

Does this mean Dan D. is playing??????If this is the case I am going to ct.to watch this.

First of all I said I was pretty sure he was going to be back, I only saw the updated roster after I posted. Secondly I have the upmost respect for Team Rink Rat. Rob Laurie, Gerry St. Cyr, and Hugo Belanger happen to be some of my favorite players. I wasn't posting to cause any controversy, all I was saying is that I don't think the Thunder gets the credit they deserve. But I still think that you guys are underestimating them severly. Anyway good luck on Saturday, and I hope it is a good game cause I am definetly going to be there.

Calm down boys. No, Dan D is not playing. FYI, he (I) am the General Manager and Head Coach of the Thunder, not a player. I will not reply to any of those comments with the exception of jrthunder27. Yes, it will be a good game. I look forward to seeing you there and I hope you enjoy it. PS, you had a good season with the U12 Jr Thunder this past year, keep it up and best of luck in the future.

Oh, and kdawg68, I can't stop you, how am I supposed to stop these guy's? See ya soon.

My bad Ying. Got carried away. This message board has been slow during the MLRH off season. Figured I'd add a little spice. Kind of get things going again. Your right, I'll go easy. We'll only beat you guys by 2. Kidding. Just a little anxious for our first game. You know how it is. When you guys come up, maybe Yokes and I will let you hang with us in BeanTown. Talk with you then my man.

SpiderRat

You must not have read my post correctly. If you know Bobby like I know Bobby, and I had the honor of skating with him in the early RinkRat days, you would know that "only" was not meant negatively. He is by far one of the best hockey players in the country. Not to mention a class act.
