Rink Rat and TORHS partner
for the 2004 season
PRO Series
Total Prize Money $60,000

Atlanta, Georgia *********October 6, 2003

TORHS America is proud to announce the new sponsored partnership with Rink Rat wheel company.
The TORHS PRO Series enters the third season with incredible excitement. After what many can argue was the greatest roller hockey game ever played in the championship game of the TORHS Pro Series in July 2003. With Rink Rat scoring with a half of a second to play in regulation, and ultimately winning the overtime.

As TORHS enters the new 2004 season with a new sponsor being Rink Rat for the Rink Rat/TORHS PRO Series. With Rink Rat's support the TORHS PRO Series will be offering $10,000 for the season championships (season total points) and $50,000 for the National Championships July 3rd through July 5th, 2004 .

This shows the commitment to the sport of roller hockey by Rink Rat.
President of Rink Rat John Roderick, feels the need not just to make products for the players but to help develop the sport so young players worldwide can have something to aspire to.

The patented Rink Rat wheels are the preferred wheels of the pro players.

I can't be happier with the excitement that the PRO Series has created. It really gives
the sports some needed creditability. We at TORHS will continue to play our row in the development of this great sport, said Tony Abbate president of TORHS America.

We chose to support TORHS because we at Rink Rat believe that TORHS is making the biggest effort to develop the sport of roller hockey from the the young players, playing in the NICC to the PRO Series competing for over $50,000, said Michael Hunt National Sales Manager Rink Rat.

isn't that a really bold statement to make when you are partners with other organizations or are working with other organizations on sponsorships. if I was narch and saw that I would nto be happy. also, what do you see them making an effort doing that is a benefit other then giving away free merchandise and an opportunity to win money. I play for a college team in the new NCRHA and we couldnt even accept prize money so torhs is not doing anything for me. but NCRHA is. arent you guys working with them too?

I'm a bold guy....With that being said, were thrilled to be involved with the Torhs Pro series and were looking forward to a great year. As far as other organizations we have ruled nothing out, As for our sponsorship doing nothing for you and your college team well you are right , Your a college team "not" a pro team so you cant play for the money....As per the NCAA.....

We're also involved with Rebecca and NCRHA and were extreamly happy with that. I'm not sure how that is a conflict for you. At any event i hope you have a great season at the NCRHA and good luck at school....

It's a pro division for a reason. Not everyone is meant to play. PRO means PRO, if you play college you are still an amatuer. It is the same way for most sports I know of are this way. Just because you have no shot at the prize money doesn't mean it's not a good thing for the sport as a whole. I think you have to look at it that way.

I think it would be great to win and turn the money over to charity or something. Prove it's not the money that counts.
