I'd highly doubt it. Labeda has a strangle hold on the biggest market out there...Cali. I know many many players that swear by their wheels. They make the best frames, and a lot of people will wear nothing but the sensor now. No worries about them right now man. They are a leader in the sport.
Did you ever see that wheel comparison done on Sealweenies(argggg I actually said it)? Where Labedas Dynasties were the wheels of choice......

i have a set of Dynasty's and they're ok but seem to be very inconsistant. just the feel i get out of them.

Thats what I heard from someone at our proshop. I knew it wasn't true but I wanted to make sure since people on this board now a good amount about the Roller Hockey World.

the company that owns labeda wheels and the sensor chassis is actually different from the company that made the older frames (pro extreme, predator, etc.) same parent company, but its actually divided now. labedacorp. own the old frmae section, and a new company owns the wheels and sensor sections...i forget the name ..something sports ltd.

I posted this question on Labeda's forum. The bossman replied back saying Labeda isn't going anywhere.
