Colleagues,
The Federation Francaise Roller Sports <A HREF="http://www.ffrs.asso.fr" target="_new">http://www.ffrs.asso.fr</A> have organised the 1st Inline Hockey European Champions Cup to take place at the 'Lac de Bairon, Leisure Complex' 25km South East of Charleville (near Le Chesne on the D977) over the week-end of 18/19 October.
This event is sanctioned by the Confederation of European Roller Sports (CERS) and is being played to the International Federation of Roller Sports (FIRS) Rules of the Game for Inline Roller Hockey.
Six European National Champion teams have accepted the invitation to take part in this the first ever European Tournament, they are in alphabetical order:
Alemagne/ Germany: Patriots Assenheim
Belgique/ Belgium: Chacals Charleroi
France/ France: Diables de Rethel
Espagne/ Spain: Espanya Mallorca
Grande-Bretagne/ Great Britain: Teeside Renegades
Italie/ Italy: Ghosts Padova
This is the first of a number of Inline Hockey events to be organised within Europe under the auspices of CERS & FIRS.
