Adult Beginner's advice needed

I'm gonna start playing in a rec league this Fall and need some advice on sticks and skates. I have a pair of CCM skates for now but I really didn't know what I was looking for when I bought them so I went cheap. I used to play Dek hockey so I'm not too sure what kind of stick to buy either. Any advice for an Adult beginner?
