ATLANTA, Georgia ? The Tournament of Roller Hockey Series is proud to announce the official naming of their head official.

Jonathan Rose from Ontario, Canada who has been with the company for two years now has been named as the Head of Officiating effective immediately. Rose, 23-years old, is a full time linesman in the Ontario Hockey League. Having had extensive training and knowledge of the game, Rose is a perfect fit for the position. He has officiated numerous key games in both the OHL and with TORHS doing the PRO finals the past two seasons.

?We are thrilled that Jonathan excepted the offer. He is a young man with a lot of potential and someone that will grow with this company,? said TORHS President Tony Abbate. ?He is well liked and respected as an official across the country, and that?s something that we have taken notice of in the past few seasons.?

Despite a busy schedule Rose will attend the greater portion of the regionals in addition to his OHL responsibilities. Rose grew up playing hockey through juniors in Canada until he embarked into the officiating side of the game, which he has been doing for the past seven years, the past three in the OHL.

?It?s a great opportunity with a terrific company and a phenomenal sport. I am thrilled that TORHS has the confidence in me to bestow such a great responsibility upon me,? said Rose

Rose?s key duties will include scheduling, any rule adjustments, interpretation, and advice and guidance in the legalities of play.
