You taught us all to believe in miracles
and that the impossible can be done
A gift you were to the hockey world and beyond
but you stayed far to short
thank you for the joy of dreams come true
thank you for being a true sportsman
and showing that the good guys do win
rest in peace Coach Brooks say hello
to Jean and Badger Bob and save me a seat
behind the bench in that rink up there so far away
I'll see you there some day
This is dedicated to Coach Herb Brooks One of the priemer coachs in ice hockey of all time And a super sportsman and good guy. When his USA Olympic team won gold he gave hope and dreams to so many who had lost hope and let us never stop believing in miracles
