Just wondering what the main difference is b/t the rink rat hornet and hot shot wheels. also, if anyone has used one or both of them, could you say which one's are better for certain types of players.

This is what I was told from Mr. Hunt. The red ones are for the heavier set players ( myself def included) and the yellow ones are for the speedier players. Personally speaking, there is still not one wheel that will last for a significant amount of time if you are skating 3 to 4 times a week on them. Frankly, there are no wheels worth a 100 bucks, you might as well get the cheapies at kmart or modells, because, they will last longer because of their hardness. Go with the wheels that are at a great price and will last ( not much of them out there). Hope this helps....

Um, its called ask sanchez for the labedas :) lol. I called up good ole mearthane products today and they are looking into the matter. They billed me twice and they have to look into it? What a fun monday morning here in pa....Unless Rink Rat goes beyond the call of duty ( not likely), I am done dealing with them. The customer service has been ridiculous and I am sorry, but if this has happened to other people ( the guy told me it has), shouldn't some people there be receiving pink slips? Thanks for the board RG...

Hey Dave, Thanks for the kind words, Just got your 1st and only message today. Not sure what the problem is but it will be worked out, as far as no wheels worth 100.00, how about sticks worth 150.00 and skates at 600.00 I hear ya its expensive to play the sport, to play at a high level you need the best product We have the best wheels and our customer service matches that. Cant tell ya why your having a problem but I just heard about it and it will be corrected, call me.

Also, Rink Rat wheels were on the skates of the team Rink Rat pro team who did what no other team has done, won both the TORHS National Championships and Narch Pro Championships in the same year going undefeated in both taking claim as the best roller hockey team in North America.

Get on the wheels and play like the pro's.

I currently bought a set of the XX-grip hot shots and have the problem where the core is not deep enough. Can you tell me where I can send them so that I can get a new set. I was told that I could get a new set at NARCh if I sent them in. Thanks.

Not to be a big stink in all of this, but...

I know it is a marketing ploy to say that the winners of both NARCh and TORHS play on Rink Rat wheels, but I hardly doubt any of us here in this Message Board are going to fall for the fact that it was the wheels that produced these champions. I know it is all about selling the wheels and stuff, but don't just say you have a great product and great customer service just because your wheels were on the skates of the National Champions. Heck, they could have probably used Labeda or Hyper wheels and still won with the talent they had assembled. Must be nice to put together a team like that and then have them wear your stuff.

Sorry, I just found your reply to a previous message a little too commercial. I have no doubt you guys have a great product, but please sell the product on the products potential, not the team who wears them.
