Effective at the close of business on Friday, August 8, 2003 the roller hockey center facility businesses operated by Irvine Roller Hockey Facilities LLC at 3150 Barranca Parkway, Irvine, CA, will be sold and transferred to a new owner, Irvine Roller Hockey Center, LLC, which plans to continue to carry on and operate the roller hockey facility business as is at the facility.
From 1997, when the first Gretzky Center was opened, we have had literally thousands of families and individuals play at the various facilities, and it has been an exciting and often challenging business. We have had hundreds of employees, several of whom have been with the companies from the beginning, and thousands of referees, scorekeepers, coaches, volunteers, etc. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has made these facilities the great community based recreational centers that they have become over the years, and to wish all of you the very best in the future.
From Friday, August 8, 2003, all issues related to the ongoing operations of the facilities will be dealt with by the purchaser, and Irvine Roller Hockey Facilities LLC will no longer have any involvement in the business, including any participant liability or other insurance coverages, inquiries for which should be directed to the new operator.
Once again, many thanks for your loyalty over the years and best of luck to you all.
