MLRH Announces Officials Clinic, August 23
Alexandria, VA- Major League Roller Hockey (MLRH) has announced the East Coast clinic for any referees interested in working MLRH AAA games for the 2003-04 season. The clinic will be Saturday, August 23 at the Marple Sports Arena (Philadelphia). A West Coast clinic is being scheduled for September.
Veteran MLRH, collegiate, and tournament officials Rick Pohlig and John Mulvenna have been named East Coast Coordinators for officiating. Pohlig and Mulvenna will conduct the clinic that will include classroom as well as on-rink work under game conditions.
Joe Verna, owner of the Philadelphia Sting, has been selected to head the MLRH AAA Rules Committee.
On the announcement, MLRH AAA Commissioner Steve Seeger said, " We are delighted to have Rick and John working to create the MLRH Referee Association. This is just the first step toward providing our players and fans with the professional officiating they expect from MLRH AAA."

MLRH AAA, LLC is the world's only full-contact roller hockey league and will begin it's inaugural season of play as the newly reformed league on October 25. A complete league schedule will be announced September 1.
