View Full Version : the "mins" for a decent skate

Obviously there are a lot of details that can go into a high end skate, and stuff like wheels/bearings/spacers you can more or less replace at will. But as far as the meat and potatoes, what are the minimum acceptable components? I would propose these but I wonder if anybody has any comments or additions?
1) a real leather lining, more durable than synthetic.
2) an extruded (1 piece)hi-lo chassis(as opposed to some frames are bolted together even though they look the same).
