Team USA won a barnburner 3-2 for the GOLD in World Cup play today against Czechoslovakia. The website finally updated the winning goal details:

C.J. Yoder at 59 minutes (OT) !!!!! (wonder if he could be considered a "clutch player"?) - two overtime game winners back to back - one to get into the finals and the other to win the Gold!!!

Way to go CJ (again) - Congratulations Team USA and all the other clutch players who scored and played such great hockey to get them to the finals !!!!!

Congrats Team USA! Wish they would have shown it on tv, or over the internet so we could have seen it back here in the states.

Great job Team USA. I wish they would have shown it on TV. I would rather have Fox show inline hockey then ESPN.

Great job Team USA. You've made everyone in Roller hockey proud. CJ Yoder netted 2 important goals to give USA the win. Great Job CJ.
Thanks to all of the Team USA Players for doing a Great job representing the USA and bringing home the gold.

Congrats to team USA. By the way, it was a retaliation penalty by CJ that let Canada win the gold last year. That may also be why they were rated #1 going into it. Way to make up for it CJ!! Congrats to all the players on the team. There are some terrific players on that team!

Having watched CJ play and get pounded so often in Narch Pro series games - it wouldn't surprise me to hear about last year's circumstances. Maybe this year they had a designated retaliator lol.

Does it really matter who shows it as long as someone does? But I do agree with you that Fox would be the channel of choice, even though it may get better ratings on ESPN, but we won't know until it happens.

ESPN would probably get better ratings but any channel that would show it across the nation would be great for both roller hockey and the promotion of it.

It was funny that teamUSA was practicing in our rink last night and in the locker room a nameplate that said GRAHAM was on the wall. Made me laugh.
