ok, first off, thanks to all for your input. Here is the list I have compiled from your posts. Based on the amount of feedback (different voices saying the same thing) I have attempted to rank each issue. Please note: I said "attempted to rank" ;)

1) Protect Players from Cheap hits & goonery
2) Team viability (aka financial stability)
3) League level marketing/Sponsorship
4) Quality of Play/Team/Venue/Superstars
5) Game Day Operations
6) Trade Deadline/Playoff eligibility
7) Pay Players
8) Geographic diversity
9) Intellectual Property (logos, etc etc) standards

If there are no other additions to this list, I will attempt to address, or have addressed, each item. I'm happy I can say we have addressed through rule/procedural changes each item above, or it was already present in the league structure.

Some of this will also likely be addressed in a Press Release Steve Seegar will be doing any day now.

Happy & Safe 4th to all!

MLRH is the same league it was 4 years ago and it won't change because we in the inline community say something about it. Unless there are WHOLESALE changes next year it's going to be a joke as usual.

Hehe, I was waiting for you :)

Chris, I promise you that if you took a look at what we have done and make your pronouncements based on that data instead of 1999 and your personal bais, you will change your tune.

I just spoke with Steve Seegar (our Commish), give him a call at the MLRH offices (703-535-5996) Chris. Talk to him. He is willing to give you a basic rundown on the changes we have made and answer your questions about them. Listen to him, and then make your judgements.

Chris, you and I have had some rather in depth discussions on this in the past. I feel confident that you will like what we have done once you stop and listen. Heck Chris, you may even become a fan! gasp! :)

What happened to Bill?

Oh let me guess:

"THIS year's gonna be different!"

They say this every single year. Leopards never change their spots.

<sigh> Come on Chris. Take a chance here. I'm telling you, you will be quite suprised.

And, IMHO, the MLRH has been steadily improving, year after year. You just have to choose to see it.

He's still there.

Bill is still there, just in a much reduced role, aka, Director of PR & Marketing. There is much more to it than that, but I don't want to steal Steve's thunder :)
