Hi Mike,
No wonder you're not returning my calls. /wtimages/icons/wink.gif
Do you happen to have a roster list for Team USA and Team Canada? I would like to see who's playing, and I'm sure IHC's readers would like to know as well.
Thanks!

since this is a FIRS sponsored/operated event, and therefore the USARS organization has put up the U.S. team, their web site should have the roster list..I cannot seem to access www.usarollersports.com at the moment, however...

Hi Danny,
To be honest, I don't believe I was even apprised that the event was happening. I may be mistaken, but I don't recall hearing anything about it until Kdawg posted.

Hi Kdawg,

Women's World Inline Hockey Team Advances to Finals
Mitch Brown
June 24, 2003
PISEK, Czech Rep. - Team USA zeroed in on one thing at the conclusion of Monday's trouncing of Mexico...Germany!
The concentration paid off, as USA rolled a very reputable German squad right into the losers' bracket with a 10-0 blowout. Team USA played the best defense the tournament has seen so far holding a very offensive minded German team to no goals. The offense, on the other hand, leaped on the German defense scoring six goals in the first half, and three of those coming within the first ten minutes of the game.
On the other side of the bracket, Canada scored four first half goals on their way to an 8-0 rout of host, Czech Republic.
Canada and the United States will meet for the second year in a row to decide who will be this year's World Champion. Canada won the inaugural World Championship last year with a 2-0 shut out against the United States.

Ms. Hills:
Congratulations on your representing your country in this prestigious world event...there are so many of us out here who are envious of your ability and accomplishments. Congratulations too, to Team GB: their 7th place finish in the second-ever Worlds' is a high level achievement in itself.
We have one young lady from Kent participating with her 12's boys' team at the GB Youth Nationals this week, and she will be joining us to play on our Polar Bears all-girls 17's team at the USAHIL Youth Nationals in August, which we are really looking forward to.
On behalf of all of us here in the States, keep up the hard work on the other side of the ocean...

Lets hope that this continues year by year an im sure it will.
And good luck to ure team in the nationals im sure u will do really well...i have played in the GB U18 nationals last year with my U18 lads team an it was the one of my experioences of hockey so far but im sure it is nothin compared to wat u guys got going in the USA.
