I currently am in serious need of my own goalie gear. My mom is a single parent who can't afford to buy me it (or the most expensive stuff) so I was figuring I could post here and see if any of you can help me out. You can check my profile for more about me or e-mail me for my life-story so I can explain why I can't afford it. I'm 16, about 5'9, and would wear a Sr. size Med-Large...I'm a goalie and since gear is so expensive, I'll take anything I can come by. Please let me know if you can help me out/donate anything/sell me something cheap! Not looking for brand new unless you are sure you don't want it...and hopefully not too worn, either...thanks a ton, guys!

Hi Drew,
Good luck in your search. I don't have any good contacts with companies that make goalie gear specifically, but maybe I can find someone to help you out. Good luck to your mom; my sister's a single parent as well, and I know what you're talking about.
Sincerely,
Richard Graham

Thanks Rich...I appreciate everything that anyone does for me...even if it's just a website or anything like that...I wish I would've found this sooner...it's definitely a cool thing! Keep it up and thanks!

I know of someone who is selling off his goalie pads for pretty cheap. They are louisville (he plays NARCh in Juniors and D-1 so you know they better be good quality). He is buying some new pads so he is just trying to dump them. do you know what size you need?

I can wear anything from a 32" or bigger for leg pads...and then a Sr. (or just Adult) Medium-XL lol...I'll squeeze into anything/be draped by anything...I just need gear! Let me know and thanks!

When I talk to Kyle I will tell him to email you about the pads. I know he has been going crazy trying to get rid of em. Hopefully he still has them.

My son's got a glove & blocker in great shape - are you right or left?

Currently they are around $40, and are 32' pads, brand new too.

Thanks...yeah...I've seen these before and they'd definitely work...only problem is that there's still a day left in the auction and I know they'll be double that tomorrow. I am tempted to bid, though! Anyone know anything about these pads?

They are good pads that are pretty durable. I know what you are saying about the price jumping up, but sometimes I can spot a great deal. My brother got a brand new pair of Mission Mod 2's for like $40 a few years ago. So just wait till the price is low, and claim your territory ;-)
