Cheektowaga, NY (Buffalo) Aug. 1-3

Just got some information on a major Adult tourney coming to the Buffalo area. They inform me that even a team from Switzerland is making it to this one. Why they are coming to Cheektowaga, NY I have no clue, but the competition should be good.

Cheektowaga does have a really nice facility for the summer.

Anyways, here are some details:

$300 entry fee.
Guaranteed 4 games.
No Referee Fees.
10 Team Maximum. I believe already there are 5 entered.
Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Teams, High Scorer, Top Goalie, Tourney MVP.

Just as an update:

The Switzerland team will not be coming. They were planning on playing this tournament and one in Ontario, but due to SARS notices have decided not to make the trip.

Although this irepresents a minor setback to this tournament we are truly looking for some great competition. For those Adult Platinum and Gold teams playing in NARCh this will be a great practice test for the money. The tournament director insists that only high level teams will be playing in this tournament.
